LABO’LIFE BELGIUM SRL and LABO’LIFE ESPAÑA SAU (hereinafter “LABO’LIFE”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”), are companies belonging to the same group that are committed to ensuring the privacy of the visitors and users of its website and to processing their personal data in accordance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations, including without limitation, the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679 (GDPR).

The Privacy Notice explains how LABO’LIFE collects, uses, shares and stores Personal Data.

Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“Data Subject”), such as an address, telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, data concerning health or geographic location (“Personal Data”).

Personal Data that we process

  • Identity Data including full name and username.
  • Contact Data including email address, personal and professional mailing address, telephone number and fax number.
  • Professional Data of:
    • Health professionals including title, specialty and collegiate number.
    • Candidates including CV and the type of candidate (student).
  • Device and Usage Data including information about how you use LABOLIFE’s website, internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform of the user (cookies).

LABO’LIFE, like many companies, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain functions related to the business.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have the possibility to request the exercise of the following rights:

  • Right of access: you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not your personal data is being processed and, if so, precise information as to the processing of your data. You also have the right to request a copy of the information held about you.
  • Right to rectification: you have the right to ask us to rectify, in particular by completing or correcting, all or part of the information held about you.
  • Right to erasure (“right to forgotten”): you have the right to ask us to remove all information held about you from our systems.
  • Right to restriction of processing: you have the right to ask us not to process some of your data in certain circumstances. This is known as blocking.
  • Right to data portability: you can ask to receive your information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and transmit those data to another controller.
  • Right to object: you can object to the processing of your personal data.

The application of these rights is not absolute. The requests of the exercise of rights will always be subject to a case-by-case analysis by the DPO or the Responsible for the Data Protection of LABO’LIFE.

Where the processing of your data is based on your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time, in a simple manner and without any justification.

If you want to have more information regarding the processing of your personal data or if you want to exercise your rights, your requests can be sent to the DPO or to the Responsible for the Data Protection of LABO’LIFE.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged offence if you believe that your personal data is not being processed in accordance with the GDPR.
